Dark Fiber Lease over the Hudson River
Client:
New York State Bridge Authority (NYSBA)
Summary:
BCS was hired by the NYSBA in 2012 to establish, manage, and market a dark fiber lease program. The objective was to sign up major telecom/fiber providers such as Verizon, QCST, Optimum (Altice), First Light, and Charter (TWC) to long-term fiber leases across the Hudson river via NYSBA Bridges.
Result:
To date, BCS has helped NYSBA generate $500,000 per year in annual lease revenue.
We have worked with Glen’s company since 2012 to develop and implement our Dark Fiber Lease Program on our five bridges. To date we have secured $4.8 million in new lease agreements. I would recommend BCS to other Bridge Authorities or similar government entities who would like to generate new revenue.

Cable Revenue Share Agreement
Client:

Summary:
BCS approached Radisson COA about a unique opportunity to generate upfront and recurring revenue by entering into a cable revenue share agreement.
Result:
BCS negotiated a significant upfront and recurring revenue share payments to the COA.

Result:
